City of Maple Grove issued the following announcement on April 5.

The Maple Grove Yardwaste Site is located at 10300 Maple Grove Parkway and open seven days a week, except for major holidays. 

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bring ID showing you are a Maple Grove resident to drop off the following items at no cost:

  • Grass
  • Leaves
  • Plant material
  • Straw
  • Wood chips
  • Sod
  • Sand
  • Brush material (up to 10” in diameter)
  • Rock under 2”

 Any container used to bring yard waste to the site must be taken home with you, including plastic and biodegradable bags.
