BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENT RESCHEDULED: Due to February’s winter storm, the BCCS Black History Month event has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 16.

Join us for: I AM…Black History, A Tribute To New York. 

We all know that New York is called the city of bright lights. But do you know the African American history that comes from New York? Join us as BCCS scholars take you on a trip to the city! In this play, they will take you on a journey to learn about important eras, events, people, and places that are all significant to New york. You will also be amazed by these talented scholars as some will display incredible singing and dancing!

– Date: Thursday, March 16, 2023

– Times:

A FREE traditional Soul Food Dinner served 5-7 p.m.  

Black History Bingo/Trivia during dinner 

Show begins at 7 p.m. 

–  Location: 

Brooklyn Center Middle and High School STEAM

– Note: 

All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the duration of dinner and the show
